RBD Rebelde

When I was a child, my biggest fashion references were my two oldest cousins. They are eight and nine years older than me, an age difference that doesn't seem like much today, but when I was in kinder garden, that difference was evident. I lived my childhood between these two pre-teens and clearly, they strongly influenced my tastes in music, on television and in clothes (I inherited all of theirs) and that sometimes looked a little strange in a little girl. This is how I became a huge fan of RBD from the age of five. I remember doing a self-portrait in kinder garden and drawing myself with Roberta's red shades. I definitely wanted to be like her, I sometimes even asked my cousin if she could delineate me "inside the eye". The three of us grew up with all the drama of this Mexican youth television series. We had the CD's and the recordings of the concerts, we knew almost all the songs and we even did choreographies that we performed a couple of times in front of o...

Summer loves

When I was nineteen, I went to Uruguay for two weeks with my best friend, Emilia.  We arrived in Montevideo on a Sunday, it was raining and there were hardly any people on the street. It was very hot and there was a lot of humidity even in the sheets of the hostel beds. After the first awkward day, things started to get really incredible.  The following night we went to the first of many comparsas that we found on the street, so we realized that we were close to the carnival and we started to follow those activities. After Montevideo, our beach life began. Our tour of the coast started at a place called Punta del Diablo. In that place we stayed in a hostel where worked only men without a shirt. Our salvation: the cool girls we met. We became close friends whit some of the girls who stayed at the hostel and with some we continued our trip along the coast, through Barra de Valizas, Cabo Polonio, La Pedrera and Colonia del Sacramento. The girls were mainly from Argentin...

I want to go to Greece

Imagen
During my childhood I watched Hércules about three hundred times. After wanting to be strong like Hércules and falling in love with Megara, I started to become a little obsessed with the stories of mytologhy and Greek gods. I completely discarded the belief in a catholic god and began to dream of seeing the Greek gods above the clouds.  When I was eleven years old, my dad gave me the book The Lightning Thief . I read the book in a record time and ended up with a clear idea: I wanted to see the Olympus. Who knows if maybe I was the lost daughter of Zeus. Nowadays I don't know much more about Greece. I only want to climb the Olympus to close a funny phase of my childhood. I know that Greece is far and expensive, but I would really like to go one day with my dad on vacations to walk with him down the streets of Athens and remember the stories of a time when everything could be sacred.
